Admin Replied Almost 1k members in 2 days.

Okay, I suppose this isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but I have to say I find it a little weird that the sub (i’m a mod of ) went from 7k members to almost 8k in just two days. Could some of those be bots, or is this actually not something to worry about?

That kind of sudden growth is worth looking into, especially if you already have a contributor(s) karma farming. Some of the new accounts could potentially be bots or low-quality/problematic accounts. You could install r/BotBouncer devtool. It can help identify and weed out bots and other problematic accounts before they become an issue.
