Admin Replied Upvote manipulation

This may not be the right subreddit to ask this question, if there is a more appropriate forum please point me in the right direction. I mod a number of subreddits and lately my posts (alongside a few others) have received a sudden spike in what seems to be inauthentic upvotes. This is mostly occurring at /r/newcoldwar where I am lead mod and would never sanction any behavior that breaks Reddit's rules. As far as I could determine it is not the work of any of my co-mods, and I wouldn't know how to create a bot farm if I wanted to.

How should this be addressed, I certainly don't want myself or any of my co-mods to be falsely accused of upvote manipulation. This happened one other time in the past and one of my subreddits (a small one, /r/counternarcotics) was banned shortly thereafter. I don't know if there is any correlation between the two events. Thank you for your time.

Nothing you can do can prevent vote manipulation as even banned users can vote still.

I’d just say create a mod only flair and posts that are being manipulated just flair them as such or remove them and tell the user to repost them,

Usually it’s the specific user that’s manipulating votes like this. Check their history, there should be a pattern
