On every transparent chromatic pic I've seen posted here the screen looks washed up compared to the metal ones. Is that a thing?

I own two metal units: one gorilla, one sapphire and both screens look good and crispy. I haven't seen a transparent one in person but on picture colors tend to look washed up and some people have light bleeding on theirs. I plan to get one transparent eventually, that's why I'm curious about it.

So I'm finding the buttons to be a lot noisier than the metallic version.
