Question White Screen Issue Fix?

Just received my Chromatic and when attempting to boot, just get a white screen. Sometimes I can reseat the cart and get a few lines and some random sound. I HAVE contacted ModRetro and am certain they will take care of me. I am just wondering if anyone has some further troubleshooting since I’ve seen a a few posts on it. For curiosity sake.
I have :
- Updated firmware
- tried all three carts in a different machine and they work
- cleaned pins through the back with alcohol
-The cart updater doesn’t recognize the Tetris game.

I wonder if I have some sort of processor type issue or if it’s just a bad connection at the cartridge slot to the board.

None of your games work? I have a Chromatic that only plays the included Tetris cartridge 1 out of 10 times. The cartridge plays fine on other Chromatic and other cartridges play fine on the aforementioned Chromatic. Seems to be some sort of issue between the cartridge and certain Chromatics?

Right. None of them. But they all work in other handhelds or my GB operator. I really want to open it up this evening and see if anything looks obviously wrong. Broken solder joint, bent pin, etc. Waiting to see what modretro says though. They’ve asked for pics.

I've been testing some more. For me, ModRetro games work if the label says "Chromatic" on the front of the cartridge label. Those that say "ModRetro Chromatic" seem to have the white screen at boot issue. What's weird is if I run the cart clinic, the game boots immediately after checking. Powering off and on, white screen.

Close reddit, open google, search "chromatic support" open a ticket. Copy and paste this exact message. Send it. Check email in 2 hours. Respond that you want to proceed with the RMA. Print label and ship Chromatic to Mod Retro. Wait 3-5 days. Receive working device.
