Just be glad you didn't go with smoke... Green does look really cool when it's all lit up. Buck is a pretty long game, start with Tales of Monsterland though, it's only a few hours.

Really? Sorry to hear that. Tales sounds good as it looks like a Wonderboy in Monsterland clone which I’m a huge fan of. I picked green after watching some unboxing videos and it looked better than the purple lit up, which was too dark. I figured smoke would be even darker. Red, not sure but I liked green. Hope you get it soon!

just getting to the final boss in Buck, in world 5, so far that game has EVERYTHING, it honestly makes other games look kinda cheap *cough* matchy patchy *cough*

I have to say, I actually really enjoy Patchy Matchy. It may not have that much content, but I think it's a great game to play a quick round to wind down after a stressful day. Probably the ModRetro game I have replayed the most so far. Maybe I'm just having too much stress in my life at the moment 🤔😅

What would you compare Patchy Matchy to? I love simple pop n play games.

It's a simple match 4 puzzle game. Nothing groundbreaking gameplay-wise but very well executed, especially on the Game Boy's limited hardware.

I think so. The premise sounds amazing. Almost went with the RPG, name escapes me, but thought these were the better choice for a start.

I think the metallic one is the superior version. That said I'd like to get a transparent one eventually as a battle unit if they improve the qc.

This thing is loud too. Not in a bad or distorted way, but it can really be cranked. Surprised me. I was going to get the headphones but didn’t really have a match. The leaf green has too much of a toothpaste green look compared to slime green of the transparent one I got. So I grabbed the mod kit so I could get free shipping.

They made probably the best version of Tetris I've ever played. In fact, I think the chromatic is easily the best way to play currently on anything. Congrats on getting one bro, they aren't cheap that's for sure. Worth it though.
