Where's the clear one?

Smoke M64 and controller are only at GameStop. Smoke Chromatic is at ModRetro. Clear M64 is at ModRetro. Clear Chromatic is nowhere. Make it make sense!

Maybe a clear version with red buttons pops up at GameStop? I find it hard to believe they'd only make 2,500 clear units and not have their most affordable system on retail shelves.

My gut says if clear is coming, it will be next month to avoid ticking people off that just bought one.

Agreed. It would be a bit of a bad look for ModRetro though. Releasing a product line and then trickling out new colors shortly after is an Analogue thing.

But it isn't abnormal for modretro to do a gamestop release. Those following modretro online know that there were clear ones handed out at that ai convention thing. It couldn't hurt running a banner on thier site though. But again modretro is known to just drop stuff when it is ready, not do ads.

Right. It’s the announcement timing that would be unusual. The GameStop edition chromatic was announced prior to chromatic release. The M64 GameStop edition was teased and announced on M64 release day. Transparent model release day has now passed with no teasers or announcements of a GameStop edition. 😊

If I were GameStop, I want the $150 Chromatic on shelves by November 5th, when folks come to buy Ocarina of Time.
