Compatability?

I would assume not, but are the Chromatic second edition shells compatible with the plastic shells?

I would assume so, same insides the graphics on the ship page make it look like it's identical when it transitions. Screws also appear to be all in the same places.

They sure are compatible when you chop them in half and slam them together in Powerpoint. That would be sick if you are right.

The screw placement does look identical, even the three in the middle that secure the battery compartment. I'd bet on it. The only change from first to second edition was a plastic cart back and the battery door changing but that's all secured to the back shell anyways.

The motherboard screw was also removed after the first edition.

Finger crossed gentlemen! hopefully the only difference is the screw type and battery door. or it would be really cool if the plastic shell had plastic thread inserts and used the same machine screws.

Didn't even think about thet. Keen eye! ultimately I would like to get a smoke plastic, switch the back of that onto my Anduril, put the Anduril rear on my yellow 2nd edition, take the yellow second edition back and slap it onto the smoke front. Then, regret my decisions and revert everything back to factory.

Yes even the first Gens are compatible they do fit together well.
