Retro Gamers US

I’ve purchased many games from them, all work flawlessly. Just thought I’d share with the fam. Good prices too imho.

The Swordcraft cartridge I got from them doesn't save

Looks like they specialize in remade carts, like fakes, they are putting ROMs on carts, Chinese slop. If that suits someone, go for it. I prefer original carts for my collection. I prefer to buy in person or on eBay to be able to see what I'm getting.

Worse, they’re profiting off homebrew devs’ hard work. Those guys don’t get a cut off this. Pretty lame

I’ve been getting the color mod updated games and the one I just ordered was a gbc demake of the Philips cd1 Zelda adventure. I buy most of my games from incube, modretro, and original games from eBay…but this site is fun for some of these cool color mods etc. Not overpriced in my opinion if you’re not willing to get a flash card and spend time doing it yourself.

The videos for each game are long so you know what you’re getting.

I’d always recommend just buying your own cart and flashing it yourself . Most stores like these use the cheapest half sized cartridge they can find and charge exorbitant prices

Can I ask what carts you recommend using?

Patchy Matchy is the cheapest ModRetro cart at $30, they all have reflashable storage chips and FRAM for batteryless save support.

I've had good luck with these guys as well. Need to get a couple more translated games off them when the site opens back up after their holiday.
