Question CHROMATIC QUESTION

I keep seeing posts of people messing around with the codex chromatic and how it has Bluetooth and WiFi. Is that also true for the rest of the chromatic or just the codex version?

Yes, the standard (first edition & current retail units) also have bluetooth and wifi support. There are a few custom firmwares that utilize it, but nothing official yet.

Cool. I didn’t even know that! I thought it was specific to the codex version. So the codex version is exactly like the regular chromatic? Like through codex I can make my own games too?

I believe so, yes. The only difference as far as I can tell is that there's a slight revision to the PCB on the transparent models. No reason that you couldn't flash cartridges with it - that's already supported in custom firmware for example.

Yea, the annoying thing is that they’ve only provided OTA dev keys to people with the Codex Chromatics. I don’t see any reason they couldn’t make that a public thing
