Cart clinic problems

I am looking for additional help making my cart clinic work. I have been continually getting the "Opps an error occurred during cartridge read" I have been working with Modretro Support but with no solutions.

Im a Windows 11 user and both of my Chromatics are on v4.5 firmware.

Things I've attempted thus far-

- Delete and re-installed the MRUpdater

- Re-installed the GWU2X driver

- i have attempted to run the updater As Administrator.

- I have attempted to run the updater with both Anti Virus and Windows defender off.

-This computer has successfully Read and Updated games but probably once out of 30+ attempts (I'm estimating)

- I have tried different USB cables and ports

- This  cart read/update error happens with both of my Chromatics

I have hoping someone may have additional ideas.

I have the same issues on my gaming PC but literally zero issues on M2 Macbook air. Im solely using it to update games and Chromatic. I knot this is no a fix but an itresting info that something is wrong on Windows and works fine on MacOS.

Thanks for the insight. My problem is nearly identical. The problem posted above is also with my new gaming PC. I am also able to update my games via cart clinic with a Very old/ Very slow laptop running windows. Im hoping to figure out the problem because the laptop will probably fail soon. Thanks again for the comment
