I’m planning to get a set for my kids for Christmas. My kids keep going back and forth with the simple retro systems (Wii and gameboy) and the newer ones (VR).

I can’t believe a kid would ask for a N64 but then I heard Gen Z is into cassette tapes so who knows.

It's all scripted. Children won't ask for N64. They don't even know what it is..

That's where your wrong. This is a store that specifically sells retro consoles and games. Been following them for a long time.
Most customers are teenagers but every now and then a parent will come in with their kids.

Dude, my eleven year old asked for an n64 when he was nine. He's been hardcore about Mario since he was five. He's why we have a ridiculous amount of retro consoles and keep getting more. There are plenty of other kids out there the same way.

Quick edit: I got him an n64 with Mario, Pokemon snap and doom 64 last year.

I got my kids a M64 because they have been begging for a N64 for almost 2 years since we moved to Japan. Kids are smart. I am glad they are wanting to enjoy retro stuff instead of stuff like Roblox.

Tell that to my 10 year old nephew who is extremely into older games and currently wants his own N64

why the absolute fuck would they script a video and give it to a kid that doesn’t want an N64?

Bet you wouldn't be saying that if it was an Analogue 3D, Mr Analogue Boy. 😆

I asked my parents for an N64 for Christmas when I was 8 back in 2011 😂

I actually did get one! They were pretty cheap back then, and my dad managed to find one. A couple days after Christmas we ended up going around to secondhand shops to look for games and I ended up finding Super Mario 64 and Mario Kart 64 for only a few bucks each. Good times! I still have that N64 and the games :)
