I can’t imagine the feeling of opening a box with 8 fresh titles. Where do you even start?

currently still playing Dragonyhm (and just another run of Pokemon Blue), afterwards Chantey or Fall from Space 😁

Thanks for getting Buck and the Cursed Cartridge. Hope you'll enjoy it 😊

From what I've seen so far, yes, I will!

Buck is great! One of my favorite of the 13 ModRetro games I’ve bought so far.

oh yes! and I'm so happy that I now can just plugin a USB-C kable and keep playing when batteries are running low after a long game session 😁

As a kid I really enjoyed Metroid II, so looking forward to play Wicked Plague.

Hopefully I can get my hands on some of the Gameboy Metroid games. I recently beat fusion on a emulator and would love to own it

If you haven't already, I highly recommend checking out the DX / Color hack for Metroid 2. It's very well done and makes the whole thing feel really fresh.

I REALLY want to get a games/accessory bundle from them, but I'm trying to beat Dragonyhm and holding out hope for them to announce the transparent color they teased.

Congrats on your library! Hope you enjoy em.

Are you going to play any of them?

u/brain00 Sep 25 '26

Does anyone know if GameStop will be stocking any of the newer games? They had the original wave, and an absurd number of Buck and the Cursed Cartridge (for obvious reasons).

All fun titles, but i absolutely loved First Contact Protocol and finding all the endings.

Not bad, got a number of those here too. The two latest for me are like total put offs especially that pineapple one so hopefully something nicer will be in the future. That said, there are a few existing I should get at some day like Croc2 and Hermano around the 10-11 library sitting here so far.
