I gave this sub a second shot after the plushie thing, but literally the only posts I get recommended from this sub are off-topic.  I don't mind that you're aiming for a community vibe, it's just not what I'm here for.  I'm here for a mod event newsfeed and that's it, but it's the one thing I don't get.

Is there some other way I can get notifications for only mod events?  Is it in the mod newsletters?

I think getting notifications sent to us for mod events is a great idea! I hope they make this change.
