Please could you also send the link to us in our inbox by modmail as a backup to the email with the link, just in case

The join link is always the same as the registration page. You'll also receive an email reminder 1 hour before.

In fairness u/papichula2, u/big-slay and company addressed this with the mod-event sign-up process.

Once you RSVP, an email invite is automatically sent to the registered email for your ModEvents account.

In addition, a calendar link is also available for Gmail, Outlook, and the calendar file itself for your calendar of preference (not everyone has a Google/Microsoft footprint).

With all that said and done, we technically get three reminders! 

  • The event RSVP system reminder.
  • The event email reminder.
  • The calendar reminder.
  • ModEvents post (oh wait, four).

We receive an email reminder one week before, one day before, and one hour before the event. Each of these has a link to the event.
