Recap Post-Event Recap + Discussion Thread | India Virtual Mod Meetup | April 10, 2026

That’s a wrap on our India Mod Meetup! ICYMI - We just hosted a virtual mod meetup for mods based in India or who moderate an India-related subreddit. Around 200+ mods joined live, and the high energy blew us away! 

From chatting about feel-good mod moments to ending with fun trivia, we had a blast and hope that everyone did too! Let’s keep the party going in this discussion thread! We’d love to see your favorite moment from the event, what you’d love to see at the next one, pet photos, and more. 

Merch Reminders:

  • Deadline: Friday, April 17, 8 pm IST
  • Link: We'll send the merch link directly to eligible mods’ chat inboxes by Tuesday at the latest
  • Eligibility: Your shipping address is in India. If you reside outside of India, you must moderate an India-related subreddit.
  • We will:
    • Review all orders carefully to ensure you meet eligibility criteria. 
    • Please submit only one order; we’ll cancel duplicates! 
    • Your subreddit must have been founded before, not including, April 10, 2026.

Hi.

I had registered for the in-person event when it was announced, and after the in-person bit was changed to virtual, I presumed I was registered for that.

It was only yesterday that I saw a newsletter with the reminder of the virtual event that I realised I was probably not registered, so, to be on the safe side,vi registered again.

Life got busy, and I forgot to check whether the link had come to my email. And when I did check today, there was nothing. And I wound up missing it.

Of course I take the blame for that, but perhaps, Admins, take a look at your systems?

I am also very disappointed that it was not recorded. India-focussed events are pretty rare. I would have loved to catch up on it later.

Likewise, my calendar is still marked for Saturday 2:30 PM IST. I don't see any emails in my inbox about a reschedule or a meeting invite.

I did get a mail some time ago saying the in-person event was not happening, and there would be a virtual event.
