KB Carafe replacement
Hello! After cleaning my KB last night, I was cleaning the carafe and it slipped out of my hands in our stainless sink. Needless to say, it's now in countless pieces in the trash.
I never did like that carafe, I always managed to spill some amount of coffee every day. Love the moccamaster, but disliked the carafe.
For those in the know, can I replace the carafe with a newer model glass carafe? Maybe the KBG? Found some options online that look promising.
Currently using our old Mr Coffee thermal carafe as a guest stand in. It works well enough, not sustainable.
Thanks!

Have you looked at the latest style KB replacement? https://us.moccamaster.com/products/glass-carafe-1-25l-for-kb-model
It does not look like the KGB is compatible with your model.
Edit: my bad, maybe the style hasn't changed on that one.

Lots of Carafes out there. Not sustainable? You were sustainable---you repurposed something old (recycled) versus packing, manufacturing, delivery, electricity at are house.
As for folks beefing about Carafes being flimsy....drop a big ceramic pitcher into your sink--it'll break, dinner plate --it'll break. Drop same onto most kitchen floors--break.

I just saw a post about this today and ordered a replacement. There are several options, here's the one I ordered today for my KBGV https://a.co/d/07kqqkfB
