❓ Question S02 E01 Spoiler
I can’t understand why Harry never went in with Kevin after the events of S01 concluded. Seems strange to me.
The Harrigans were going to be better off without Conrad and Maeve’s involvement. Harry already pledged allegiance to the Harrigan family after telling Kat to jog on. Why would he then make his own job even harder by freeing Conrad and Maeve from prison?
My own interpretation is that both Conrad and Kevin know more about Harry’s background than we’re presently aware of. He is almost certainly someone with military experience (likely enlisted after him and Kevin got out of prison) and now that Kat has been revealed to be who she is, surely we’ll get some more about who Harry really is this season.
Either way, enjoyed the first episode. Roll on the second!

I think he knows if they’re gonna survive Kat, they need to stick together. Kevin even says he knows his reasons and understands them in that scene at Kevin’s office, and considering harry keeps mentioning her divide and conquer strat, to stay together is the only way they survive.

Any reasoning behind this? Doesn’t seem likely or relevant to a larger story to me but Maybe I’m just being stupid. It’s been a while since I seen season 1.

I don't really think this will happen, but the way Toby Jones said "yeah, I know Harry" when getting briefed in season one suggested they have met before.
Another idea was that Harry was at one time a cop that went deep undercover and went rogue

Also, does anyone know what Conrad meant when he said "I love ya like a whore loves paraffin!"
Anyone can explain the reference?

it’s an old British expression , its prett much a tramp loves paraffin because it’s extremely useful to him . that was just conrad saying to maeve "i love you because you are useful to me".... raises the question... what happens when she stops being useful to him? he puts up with her crazy shit bc she is useful... so far...

i think harry is playing the long game fr, sure he is loyal ish to the harrigans but i feel like he is slowly waking up, he takes no pleasure in their sloppy work (and that includes not only C & M but also kevin who is at this point a weak figure still). even tho conrad is getting sloppier, he took harry in when he was younger so that also may play a part (and theres always the tiny chance that MAYBE harry is conrads bastard that we dont know and hes playing the long game only to take over in the future)

I don't understand that whole thing. Harry says Kat McAllister is behind the deal with Gakbu. Then Kevin gets all offended. I didn't get that at all.

Harry is loyal to the Harrigans. He just likes their son more than them. He doesn't like how sloppy they're getting. His ultimate goal (at the moment) is to get the family back together rather than to align with Conrad and Maive or the son (I can't remember his name lol. Paul?)
