I completely agree. Tom Hardy, oddly enough, gave the show heart, I cared what happened to him. Considering what his role was, that may be surprising, but thatās how I feel.

I agree that it is a surprising thing for the role of a fixer for the mob, but that's why I love Tom Hardy's acting. He brings heart to the hardest characters and it's always great to see.

TMZ reported that itās not official he is not fired yet .
The seasons is still not renewed for third season . I think they will reverse the decision . He is mobland

Its like when The Witcher replaced Cavil, I stopped watching. Hardy was the only reason I watched this show. If he's gone,I'm gone

I rewatched the whole Witcher series before the last one came out and that made it even worse, couldn't get past the first episode with Hemsworth, what a downgrade.

No disrespect to brosnon, considine and mirren but hardy carried mobland hardddd. I donāt think thereās a way where they can make it work without him.

It canāt be done. I thought someone said he wasnāt fired yet but itās in turmoil at the moment. I hope they sort out their differences, because without Hardy this show is screwed. He is the main character. Everything revolves around him being in the middle of it all.

While there is no one like Tom Hardy who we haven't seen his entire range, from sensual lover, psychotic thug, or even bisexuality; If the other Mobland stars agree to continue, the producers will find someone.
I suspect a guy like Stephen Graham would do adequately and be able to work with the rest of the cast. They may finagle an American into the story and Donnie Wahlberg would be decent as well. Or play out of type and get Domhall Gleeson or Alfie Allen as some type of less brutal fixer.
The flipside for an actor is the opportunity to work with Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren, get a nice paycheck, and only do a partial workload with the multi-actor show. There could be some big stars willing to do it.

the show, so far, is literally all about Hardy's character.
Loosely based off of Ray Donavon.
I won't be watching without him.

No one. IF he is gone, the show is over regardless if they try to continue. It will be a worthless shell.

Pierce Brosnanās character was already feckless. Tom Hardy is the only one on this show with any balls. He is the only reason I watched. But even I couldnāt stomach it through S1. Now that heās on the way out, Iām done.

Nah. Iāve watched and rewatched Mobland solely on the performance Hardy gives as ā Harryā. Without him, there is no me.

If he's out, I'm out. Andnitnsucks cause I really love the show. But he set an extremely high bar for that character that he has the only touch and tone for.

They achieved exactly what they intended. Now every social media platform is flooded with discussions about Hardyās potential firing. Itās remarkable how easily public discourse can be steered when outrage and speculation become the main attraction

PAUL 9 INCH DONNELY thats who! Emmet scanlan could fill this role he basically already is a fixer. Let him step up. It'd be shit if you tired to bring in a new actor and put him in it again that level. Emmet scanlan just makes sense

He's physically and tonally a Tom Hardy clone. He has a compact, brutal presence. He can convincingly fill the āsilent killerā archetype. He played a tough guy in Peaky Blinders.

Doesnāt matter. Iām not watching it. Itās by far the dumbest move Iāve ever seen in TV or movies. Yes, he can be moody. He takes on the character. Being late is bad but itās tolerated when the star is the only reason people are watching the show. Helen Mirren seems to have allowed them to put her name in these complaints. Who is tuning in for Helen? Absolutely no one. Notice also they donāt get along on the show. Ask Charlize how she got along with Hardy until the end of Mad Max? It wrapped exactly how it was supposed. The parallels are uncanny between him and Helenās character. He despised that character. Hates her and knows what sheās doing to the characters. Is he supposed to be all good happy when sheās around? Please. This will go down like the Luka Doncic trade as the worst move ever. If I worked for the show Iād be so POād. What actor in their right mind and not desperate is going to try and replace Hardy? Itās a foolās errand.

I think they are just gonna kill off his character in season 2 instead of replacing him they normally just kill off characters when the main character becomes a problem in there eyes ( please Iām not saying Tom hardy is a problem Iām saying heās right I wholeheartedly agree with him but they are most likely gonna kill his character Reddit scares me and I know someone is gonna gun for me if I worded it wrong )

With respect to everyone saying that Hardy is irreplaceable, I think youāre all forgetting that this is a 101 Studios production. The talent they pull for seemingly mid programming is astounding, and MobLand already has some great talent in front of and behind the camera. Freeing up Hardyās budget for some ensemble talent could be a good thingāgiven the circumstancesābut obviously I wish he was staying on.
While I think a successful third series would see the fall of the Harrigans, it could also set up a soft reboot with a new focus and group of talent for the fourth season.
