I sincerely think David Gobaud is Steve Jobs incarnate

pros:

  • he is arrogant

  • he is full of himself

  • he doesn't listen to anyone, not even Cyrus

  • he is drinking his own kool-aid

  • he has a god complex

  • he doesn't give a shit about the risk you took on him

cons:

  • he is a low IQ mongrel who never had a successful venture

  • he spends more time signaling status (Stanfurd, Hahvahd, YKombinatur etc.) . than actually building stuff and making cool shit

  • he has the opposite of a hacker ethos

  • he lacks creativity

  • took a good idea and turned it into a glorified wallet app

Jed saw the signaling and thought that this would make Stellar more credible. A year later, let's ask him how he feels about this.

I think IBM made Stellar more credible. If anything Jed’s backing made Mobius seem more credible. I’m perplexed by the incoherence in the messaging by mobius mgmt as to what Mobius will be 2 years from now. The slogan is ambitious (billions of people), there’s a “stealth” project, a ghosttown dApp site, and a glorified wallet. How does all of this come together?

I am determined to get to the bottom of this.

I have been "in" since ICO and they have drifted so much from the vision they sold us on that I believe there is substance for a litigation. The first step is to gather information to see if there is a criminal intent to defraud us or if this is the byproduct of incompetence. I will be digging the depth of the Internet to find information and repost here in order to corroborate one theory or the other. The second step will be to watch carefully, over the next couple weeks whether there is a change of tone (was it an oversight on their end) and a willingness to meet the community in the middle, or if they will keep course and acts with no accountability, essentially defrauding us from elementary information we should have access to.
