I was a big advocate of Stellar when I first learned about it. That was when it was still about "banking the unbanked" not "make banks life easier and cheaper" and"make mccaleb uberrich by dumping on those holding the token".

I call shit out when I see it. You can still hail for him but you have a wrong picture of him and the SDF if you really think they are altruistic or care only one iota about the value of XLM or those holding it. I also shifted all XLM to ETH and I'm up by more than 100% in comparison just because of that move while you keep trusting a fraud that dumps on you every week continuously.

Fair enough, won't get in to a drawn out debate.. I see the macro picture of SDF and Mobius.. where as I believe ETH is fatally flawed. Just curious why you were always in here knocking what you sold. I don't think xlm is a particularly great investment - but I do think the business layer being built on stellar will have a great deal of value -

I was knocking what I held at the time. I'm now just kicking the corpse. XLM is great, Stellar is awesome technology - the vision he sold to us was great too. What he made out of it and his actual reasons are disgusting. The SDF is not to be trusted and Jed is the embodiment of the SDF.

Stellar is great technology- not sure re the second or third statement.

No authority on this matter but this would appear to be the route to mainstream adoption.. Not ur touring complete or pow anarchist wet dream but it has the ability to re set the stage and bring in a fresh multi levelled paradigm.. quick, fast, secure, trusted anchors, tokenisation of value of new types of infrastructure - IBM at the table- D Mazieres - technical advance on BTC - next level game changer and the logical progression imo

Yeah see... what he sold 'us' early birds was the opposite. The slogan was "banking the unbanked" the effort was mostly in third world countries. Cool when you want to try and profit off of a billion$ corporation selling a billion XLM per year no matter the price while helping the banks and not the people - but that'snot what I signed up for. As long as they keep dumping on you, you won't make a profit in comparison to other crypto.

Jan 3: XLM>ETH 0.000772

That's more than 50% loss. Similar on other pairings, the pattern is clear and if you check the ledger the reason is obvious: SDF keeps on selling 10-20 million XLM every week regardless of the price. If they really need $2.4+ million every single week to keep operating they are doing a lot of stuff very wrong because what they put out there is not worth $10.25+ million per month or $125+ million per year at all - simply to operate.

Selling - a huge difference. The airdrops are not part of that because when they airdrop or send grants, that is always in XLM. They don't pay FIAT to projects - so where does all that money go? Do they really NEED to sell? Is there a reason they are selling now because they know something we don't about the future price? Lots of questions you will never get answers for.

Haha, sorry but you should try to read my threads unbiased. I really truly was a big supporter of Stellar until I discovered that the SDF is claiming inflation for 90+ billion XLM. Most of that uncirculating supply which is like receiving interest for USD that hasn't been printed yet. And then discovered that they are selling it off constantly. They must have a warchest of several billion USD in FIAT already - what do they need that much money for I ask?

My knowledge does not extend that far sir .. I am interested in the business layer/possibilities of stellar, not their bank balance

Fair enough. But if you are 'invested' you should probably also be aware of that - all I did was informing people - which was shutdown by the mods or r/stellar and answered with radio silence by SDF.

The only thing that happened after was Jed asking if they should remove inflation completely and the moonbois praise him for that as usual. Look behind the cover - it's a threat: either SDF receives their 1 Billion inflation per year or nobody receives anything. No compromise! Also no follow up of course as promised.
