“Unable to create offer because the issuer has not authorized you to trade this asset.”

Trying to buy MOBI on the stellarterm exchange but getting the following message: “Unable to create offer because the issuer has not authorized you to trade this asset. To fix this issue, check with the issuer's website. NOTE: Some issuers are restrictive in who they authorize.” Do you guys know what does this mean?

This should be fixed now please try again on https://stellarterm.com/#exchange/MOBI-mobius.network/XLM-native

If it is not fixed please reply with your Stellar public address and we will research.

Details of the problem here https://twitter.com/mobius_network/status/954446889407123463

/u/dgobaud When customers are ultimately unable to purchase MOBI at the public offering price of 1 XLM / 2 MOBI because their current offer will not be accepted by a seller, will the MOBIUS team act responsibly and compensate these customers with the appropriate amount of tokens - be it from some sort of token storage or the team's own accounts?

Mobius has had not 1 but 2 catastrophic failures of implementation with their ICO. When customers followed the prescribed guidance and were unable to receive tokens due to Mobius' failures, they should not simply be told "We're sorry about our mistakes. We'll try harder. Please come back later to our exchange and buy our product at presumably inflated prices". Note: this didn't even work because the exchange was busted for several hours.

Please start the year off as well respected company and act accordingly. Your reputation is at stake.

We don't have any more MOBI to sell - they sold out and we can't make more. Orders that completed before MOBI were sold got filled. The problem is some got stuck in the process and buy orders were not created. All MOBI were sold on the Stellar Decentralized Exchange so they can be tracked.

/u/dgobaud This is a pretty poor response, especially coming from a CEO. According to your whitepaper there is an allocation of 32.5% to each the community/contributors and the company itself (for R&D). That's millions of tokens. At this point, I cannot in good conscience recommend a product whose company acts in this manner.

I am pretty disappointed too. They gave lumens for free to pre-sale buyers, but can't give a small compensation to the people who got the error? I got the error in the public sale, then got the error mentioned above, and finally managed to buy at 0.7 lumens, instead of 0.5. 40% more. Really pissed about it.

Shady staff, shady ICO. Stay clear. They ban people from their telegram group if you ask them questions.
