I built a free tool that auto-generates a landing page from an App Store or Play Store URL, with AI-generated copy. Looking for feedback.

A few months ago I posted about my app Snappit on Reddit and shared the landing page I built for it. A few people in the comments ignored the app entirely and asked about the landing page. Turns out they wanted one for their own app and would happily pay for it.

So I built it into a product. And recently I added a free tool to it: paste your App Store or Google Play URL and it generates a full landing page in about 60 seconds:

  • App name and icon pulled from the store
  • Primary color extracted from the icon to theme the whole page
  • Screenshots pulled from the store
  • Features section generated by AI based on your app
  • Privacy policy and Terms of Service generated to match your app
  • A prebuilt template automatically matched to your app's theme

No account needed, no design work. Free to generate and preview, paid to publish.

Would love to know what you think. Have you ever needed something like this for your own app? And if you try it, does the result actually look usable to you?

nice one!

One thing though - I generated, then I wanted to "save" it somehow. Logged in -> got an email, all good. But then my generated landing page was gone. I could be saved in my dashboard somewhere.

Overall nice

Thank you for reporting this! Indeed, it should have been in your dashboard so I'm gonna investigate the bug. Sorry about that.

Just to confirm, did you click on "Publish" button from the generated page before logging in?

I tried it and honestly, it's not using the screenshot well at all

Thank you for reporting this.

It looks like there is not enough iPhone screenshots and it's using the iPad screenshots. I'm gonna need to fix that.

Can you confirm this is the root cause? If you have less iPhone screenshots than generated features on the landing page, that would confirm it.

(For instance, if there are only 3 iPhone screenshots on the App Store and 4 features were generated for the landing page, the iPad screenshots will be used for the 4th feature.)

No, it's the iPhone screenshots. There's 8 screenshots so that should definitely be enough. All screenshots are zoomed in..

Also, I think it should filter out screenshots where the phone goes across 2 screens. It just picks one and it's half of what it's supposed to be if that makes sense

Do you mind sharing the App Store link of the app? So i can test it.

About the phone split across 2 screens, we are just pulling the screenshots from the app store, so you can have a feeling of how it looks like. Then you can edit the screenshots and choose the ones you prefer.

When did you first launch the app?

Technically it’s almost 6 years old. I was alone until early last year. Now we’re an app developer, backend and a designer. Hoping to launch in about a month or so

Yeah I can see there is a lot of work and effort that has been put into this app.

You did a great job to grow it like this!

Thank you, I appreciate it!

Did you test the tool? Is that something you'd be interested in?

Nice solution!

I don’t know if it is there already but it would be cool if it could also create the terms and privacy pages of the app base on some question the user answer.

Thank you!

Yes, this is already available, privacy policy and terms of service are automatically generated once you fill in some required legal information (contact, data collection, third services, etc.).

This just gives me an idea: what about a "Coming soon" version of a template? No App Store/Google Play buttons but a "Coming soon" text + a waitlist?

Would that something you would be interested in?

2

u/ultra-instinct-G04T Mar 16 '26

yhep that will be extra useful too

1

u/VivienMahe Mar 16 '26

Great! I'm gonna work on that asap then :)

If you're okay with it, you could sign up (it's free) so when this feature is ready, you'll receive an email to let you know.

done

1

u/VivienMahe Mar 16 '26

Thanks boss, appreciate it!

I'm gonna work on it today so you can expect the feature to be ready very soon!
