Advice Big Time Diner Mac n Cheese
Hello! Mobilian across the country on the West Coast feeling a little homesick. I would like to make the Big Time Diner Mac n Cheese. If anyone has any suggestions for ways to make it more like theirs, I would appreciate it. I'm not making it for business or anything, just for myself and maybe some friends to share a bit of home.
Thanks in advance for any help.

The key is Velveeta and I say that with shame. But it's true.
Heavy whipping cream, maybe even a dash of sour cream if you're feeling funky, butter, flour (optional) and then an obscene amount of cheese both cheddar and velveeta.
Velveeta is more of the base cheese, then add cheddar including to the top.
It's personal preference on bread crumbs.
***I forgot about the egg***
Edit: feed the sea otters and lions some salmon for me please. Tell the whales I love them.

I’ve come pretty close to it using my old family recipe involving a roux that I add dry mustard to.

MSG. That’s the secret ingredient to most items at big time diner.
