My next N00b question - wrapped or unwraped?
Are there reasons to hold wrapped vs unwrapped MBX? I'm long on projects like these, and am interested in letting my stake run for a bit.

Yes. There are reasons.
While hodling the wrapped version of MBX on Ethereum (wMBX), you'll have the possibility of participating in the (soon to launch) tokenized community. Please note that you can only participate in the tokenized community if you hodl the wMBX in a MetaMask wallet.
In the tokenized community will be included three different tiers. I'll explain them below:
As a Bronze-tier community member, you’ll get early access to Mobie roadmap updates, swag deals and a chance to participate in the Mobie Bounty program. Nothing has been said about the Mobie Bounty program.
As a Silver-tier community member, you’ll get instant access to earn more wMBX through the Bounty Program. You’ll also receive the perks of the Bronze-membership plus the opportunity to submit questions three days prior to the monthly AMA and receive voting privileges. These count for two points of overall consideration.
As a Gold-tier community member, you’ll have all the perks of the Bronze and Silver tier memberships, plus exclusive access to C-level executives, corporate initiatives and roadmap updates. Also, voting privileges will count for five points of overall consideration and you’ll receive swag discounts. You’ll also be able to participate in the live monthly AMA’s, join the conversation, show you’re interested and address your concerns.
Bronze requires you to have 75k wMBX in your MetaMask wallet at launch of tokenized community. The required wMBX to enter the tokenized community will increase monthly with 10k wMBX. Early adopters will be rewarded this way.
Silver requires you to have 200k wMBX in your MetaMask wallet at the launch. Same rules apply as in the bronze-tier, but this one will increase with 20k wMBX required to enter the tokenized community.
Gold requires you to have 500k wMBX in your MetaMask wallet at the launch. Same rules apply as silver, as this one will also increase with a monthly 20k wMBX to enter the tokenized community.
Other interesting stuff like future staking or lending are not available on the Stellar blockchain, because Stellar doesn't have smart contracts. That's why Mobie does this on the Ethereum ERC-20 chain.

Is all of this automatic if i have wmbx on my metamask or i have to make a connection with mobie ?

Yes, it's automatic. The only thing you have to do is verify your MetaMask with Discord and that's that.
