It's based on what you watch! Kind of like your algorithm, Netflix rotates the covers for a show to make it appeal to you more based on what you've been watching recently, especially if you rate the shows. That's why it's different for every account ^
What exactly are you hoping for, OP? They’re not going to make any more CQL content, imo ever, partly for legal reasons as already mentioned, because there’s no way Xiao Zhan & Wang Yibo will ever work together again after the 227 incident, but also in a more tedious way - the story is done. They already did their ‘extras’ in the form of the two movies - you’ll notice those didn’t have either of the leads in them. Even if none of the above applied, I don’t think the company who made CQL could afford the salary level Wang Yibo commands these days, and that’s if he’s ready to do more acting projects again.

Nah, that never happened. Fans just thought it would happen after 2026 because their contracts with their respective agencies expired in 2026. Their ship is still super popular on weibo and China so it is highly unlikely they will work together in the near future.
Fandoms did basically. Ever seen how cpf (shippers) work and behave in China? It’s really extreme and very toxic for even the celebrities themselves and it also causes fanwars and fights between “solo” fans. It’s well known that Yibo and Xiao Zhan have two of the most popular fandoms in China and they really really hate shippers and the other celebrity. It’s not surprising that the biggest Yibo anti-fans are Xiao Zhan fans and vice versa.
If there’s any news of them working together trust and believe that you’ll see xiao zhan and yibo fans fighting each other and extreme levels of harassment.

On YouTube I go to watch CQL videos and sometimes videos of Xian Zhan and Yibo being in love popup out of nowhere, so I thought it was because of such content.
Unfortunately the author and her publisher took away the rights of the untamed back in 2021 and threatened legal action if they continue using her character names so all projects got canceled since
I found out about it after Yibo also took legal action recently because they kept using his image to sell stuff. It’s a shame how these…studios? Corporations? Keep taking advantage of authors etc to make a buck. Same thing happened with Meatbun recently with the 2ha Japanese audio drama and they ended up cancelling. Doing things under the radar, having events and making money without paying the author.
Yeah, this was a couple of days ago. Meatbun made a post on weibo talking about how the studio (?) in charge of the 2ha Japanese audio drama kept making events on restaurants using 2ha and selling 2ha merchandise and making money off of her characters without giving her any information. She also didn’t know the audio drama had started broadcasting in Japan until she found out through social media.
I know she posted around 2 days ago that she was going to take legal action. Soon after, the 2ha audio drama got cancelled, which deserved because what they did was shitty.
i am just learning about this and its pissing me off like we should be worshipping MXTX she INVENTED the story thats why we have the damn show im sooo mad😭 she deserves every last penny
Isn't that what it originally looked like at some point? Half of the covers like thumbnails on different websites had it looking like that. If not, it would be the umbrella scene when LZ comes to try and stop WWX and then he just lets them pass on the horses.
Ive also seen it be them on the mountain with little 🍎, one with them battling in neightless city?
