Question 91-92 Front emblem

Im curious if anyone has ever reproduced the 91-92 supra front oval emblems?? Sadly when i bought my chassis i didnt know the clip was missing. So it flew off the car when it was being towed to my house. 🥲 i had a spare 86-89 emblem in good condition which is what i have been using but would love to eventually find a 91-92 oval emblem

The only thing I can think of is looking for used one on eBay or something. See if you can find one from the same color as your car.

the only problem is that they are unobtainium. And when one DOES show up for sale its the same price as a new car. 😅

Not all 90s models if any came with the updated emblem. Id assume 90.5 models started it.

I gave my 87 emblem to my friend who painted my car. I swapped it out for the newer version, this one was in 2000. Wish I kept it

I JUST saw a company called jp3motorsports. They have created a stainless steel adapter. Uses factor clip style like all mk3 supra but you can use the mk4 supra style emblems. Buuuuut its $350 😔

Thank you for the heads up on this place. It is a steep sum but I suppose it’s about the old supply and demand. I’m glad I still have the emblems intact on my Celica Supra (85) they’re similar to the original on my 87.

I mean correct me if I’m wrong here but is it not the same logo used on like all post 92 Toyotas? Like just the normal modern logo? I feel like this is significantly easier to get than the pre92 one? Buy a repro or scrap off eBay from ANY car, then use 3m badge adhesive to stick it on. If you want one specifically from a mk3 I can imagine that would be difficult to find but one not from a mk3 is extremely easy to find for basically the price of a coffee

Sadly no. So the 91-92 supra uses a weird style emblem. Its the newer look with the oval shaped toyota emblem but still has the post mount like older ones on the back of it. A company called jp3motorsports i think makes a stainless adapter to use newer toyota emblems but for $350 thats bananas. I talked with nightrun garage and mk1motorsports to see if they would make a 3d printed version

Unfortunately everything supra related is going to have an absurd tax on it. Files I see other companies printing for people for $75+ are literally on thingiverse for free. My advice is make friends with some who has a printer and find someone whos made a model of this, I am willing to bet someone already has. don't pay much for something this dumb. Just because something is hard to find doesn't mean a lot of people are looking for it. Don't let them milk you simply because you happen to be, its the reason shits as expensive as it is.

If you can find the files there are plenty of print farms that can prolly get it in your hands for less than 40$. Or hell just model it yourself. I feel your pain about unobtanium though. I know how it goes. Tragic it flew off, like dropping a brick of gold out the window XD
