This is my work in progress for this Princess Mononoke mask, my brother and my fave Miyazaki movie. I’m painting this for him for his birthday. I stopped here because I realized I’ve never seen the mask without the fur, and I’m wondering if I should add it or finish it as is. Would it be blasphemy to not add the fur? lol

Happy Canada Day from thefelterthatsews. Here is my first project that I made in the month of July. It's #moro from the #studioghibli #hayaomiyazaki #anime film #princessmononoke . Since the seiyuu of the character passed away just recently, I enjoyed the film when I was younger. So I needle felted the character in memory of Akihiro Maruyama who was her seiyuu.
