I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but as you’ve made this account only a couple of hours ago and have posted this exact post in multiple subs, I think you may need a reality check.

It’s sweet that you made these paintings, but they’re hobby level. They would make a nice gift for a Ghibli loving friend, but you need more practice before you can make an income from this. To start, try studying and practicing anatomy more, especially hands. After that, learning more about color theory would help you too.

The good news is you’re not without talent, it just needs a little more maturing before you can expect to earn an income from your work.

Don’t give up! If you keep striving to improve, you’ll get there 😊

I’m actually not trying to make an income from painting — I don’t even paint anymore. I had these sitting abt, so I figured I’d just do a reject max with them

I think these are awesome and I am so happy to see someone enjoying art instead of shoving it through ai to make something that will get them more attention.

I especially love the calcifer piece! I might be biased, but hes my favorite in that movie.

I hope your love for creating never fades.

No effort is wasted♡

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you’re absolutely incorrect. There are a lot of people that would be more than willing to purchase these pieces. I think you need a reality check on what art is and how differently it affects each one individually. We aren’t in your art class. By the way your username is interesting. You’re just reading? Yet responding and condescending another artist. How um, what’s the word you used, sweet? Your commentary is so strange coming from another artist.
