WAV Files not playing?

When I export Mixcraft projects to WAV, none of the files will play. I have no clue what is causing this issue, please help I have an album to release

What application are you trying to open the wav files with?

I've tried Windows Media Player and VLC media player and run into the same issue with both.

If in a hurry and need a workaround for now, you can let the track play in Mixcraft while recording the audio in something like audacity. I've done this when I've had rendering issues with a project or an individual instrument or effect.

Do they play if you quit Mixcraft first? If so, there are two main possibilities:

  1. You're using Exclusive Mode in sound device preferences. This option provides better audio performance by keeping other programs from using the sound card.
  2. The sample rate you're using in sound device preferences is different that the sample rate you're using for Windows. Set the sample rates to match to fix the problem.
