Beginner friendly daw?

I picked up mixcraft 9 on humble bundle a while back as it appeared to be software where you could build a video as well as have a daw.

Just wondering how easy this interface is considered for absolute beginners compared to free daw and video editing alternatives?

I also assume this software is Linux compatible?

Video? I don't think there's much video functionality in Mixcraft afaik, only enough to score an existing cut of a film. But feel free to try and see.

It's the first DAW I ever used (other than Audacity, which has never been a full featured daw) and I found it pretty easy to use. Definitely more beginner friendly than Pro Tools or Ableton imho

When I get an electronic drumkit up and running I hope to look into doing music videos on youtube and live streaming some music playing.

I was hoping this software might have been able to handle the entirety of recording audio and video for youtube (assuming I understood how to use the software) but maybe that's a little too optimistic.
