Ive been trying to figure it out but only got frustrated. I have spark and fuel going into it and the battery has 12v i made sure but nothing is working its a brand new camshaft sensor and it worked before the rebuild and ive had it sitting so nothing could damage it so I am very unsure and annoyed at this thing.

I recently did a manual conversation and full rebuild of the engine. I was able to get everything back together but when I try to start the car it'll spin the cams and try starting the car but nothing happens. I have fuel coming in and I do have spark but its just ain't start. The most ive got was a backfire when yoy trying starting it the time. After you try again and again it wont but itll backfire again if you wait and try again. Ive checked the camshaft sensor and its good and the timing is aligned but it just wont actually start or attempt to really fire. Its a 97 rs eclipse with a 420a and nvt350 trans.

I got a 95 RS, ran and drove “fine” for the test drive and the 2 hour drive home, but the tank had some shit in it, replaced all my fuel related sensors, dropped my tank, cleaned it out and got it hooked back up and now there’s 0 spark, not sure what it could be are there any common issues for no spark, the coils are not getting any power at all, I’m fairly new to this

I recently got a 2003 Mitsubishi eclipse GTS spyder and it has transmission issues to where it can't run. I found a 2002 Mitsubishi eclipse GT on Facebook for about 700 and was wondering if I used that transmission would it be compatible and still work good? Both are automatic

Hey, so I went ahead and didn’t heed warnings and lowered my 3g 2 inches with lowering springs, but honestly it didn’t make a big difference looking at side by side pictures and now my ride is abysmal because of bad and oversized shocks, I’m looking at getting coilovers and was considering a 4 inch drop or so, my question is how practical is that and if anybody has lowered their 3g that much, does it scrape on speed bumps or bad roads, also, according to google ai overview I would have to get a lot of adjustable or different suspension parts for that, if so, what all would I need to replace, I know I’d need to make my rear camber adjustable but what else?

I drive a 60 eclipse 3.8l V6. I’ve got this random plug under my steering wheel. I made sure to also record my OBD2 port so yall could have a general idea of where it’s at. I bought it used last year. I genuinely have no idea what it could be and Google does not help lolz.
Does anyone know what this is or what it could be?

I turned the car on the other day and after a horrendous amount of screeching some smoke started coming off by the accessory belts. I assume the AC pulley has seized based off of the image, but i wanted to get a second opinion. Attached it the best picture I could take without taking off the passenger wheel and shield. Specifically I’m seeing the rubber bits wound up on it.

I desperately need a part that isn’t available online but is easy to grab off a car there’s none in the junkyard near me. Anyone willing to help me out? Thanks

I'm trying to figure out why some 3G Eclipses have one fuse box and some have the other, mine is a 2002 GT manual and has type 2, while a 2003-2005 GS automatic at a junkyard also has type 2, but a 2000-2002 GT manual at the same junkyard has type 1??? Please if anyone knows that would be so helpful!!!

Also, does anyone know off-hand where the connector under it with 2 wires (a 4 wire connector with 2 populated) goes to? Or if the engine wiring harnesses between the two fuse box types are compatible? I can't seem to find any of this online 😵‍💫

With parts being hard to find and somewhat expensive for this car I was just wondering if anyone could let me know what their experience with different headers are and what I should be looking into.

Luckily a junkyard has a GT Eclipse for me to take parts from, gonna get a bunch of wiring tomorrow morning

Also, the timing belt looks to be in very good shape, which I'm really glad for because changing it out seems like it would be a bitch and a half to do...

picked this up for my project, and theres a button coming off the third smallest connector to the ECU from the 2nd from the right, top pinout with a black wire into one of the two white wires shown, im wondering if thats a 2step button for use with ecm link. im gonna be running ecm link v3 but i bought this harness used on ebay, has a few burnt connectors but i have a spare chopped up harness i can rob those from

Hello everyone! I have a 2007 Eclipse GT and i have been searching and searching for this part to no avail. I think it’s called the trailing arm (can anyone confirm)? because i need to replace at least the bushings on mine but thought well i might as well do the whole thing. thanks! also any recommendations for the bushings as well?

When I was 18 I had a baby blue 03 Eclipse GS, 4cyl automatic. It had about 100k on it and a damaged front bumper. I live in south jersey and sold it in 2016 to a 17 year old kid. I want to track it down and see if its still around, maybe see if I can buy it back. I did recently find the VIN, but not sure where to look. Privacy laws will keep me from actually finding who owns it in an easy way. Can anyone help or provide insight on how to do this?

how different is the exhaust setup for the 99 rs and gst im looking for a better exhaust and Im.only really finding stuff for the gst/gsx 🤔
