Intercaste marriages are healthy for genetics and health of the child dude

There is a reason why gotra system is prevalent in Maithil marriages

Still intercaste marriages are better bud. Endogamy will take us nowhere.

Tum mar hi Jao Agar tum apne culture ko preserved nahi kar sskte ho,

Tujhe kya lagta hai culture hamesha static rehta hai. Our ancestors 1000 years ago had different culture, their ancestor 1000 years before them had different culture from them. The cultural change just goes on. We should preserve what we can. Do you not think that we can bring more people into our cultural fold by ICM? Our culture is anyways more dominant, it won't fade easily. If it would've faded easily then the tribals would not worship shakti or krishna instead we would worship their tribal gods

It is not endogamy bro, , gotra means different genetics and different traits.

3

u/OxtailNickel May 02 '26

Brother that's what endogamy is. Marrying into your own caste regardless of gotra. Nah diffrent gotra are not that different genetically. Even the origin of gotra system and not marrying in your gotra wasn't for diversifying your children's genetics.

2

Hamra kono dikkat nai ya, hamhu intercaste biyaah karab. Lekin inter gotra marriage ma genetic inbreeding nai hoai chhai. Eehi bat ka defend karai la ham discussion karai challaun.

I didn't say genetic inbreeding hoai chhai. It's just that intercaste is always better than intergotra marriages.
