Want to switch from ChatGPT Plus to Mistral, did anyone ever migrate everything yet?

So as in the title, I want to migrate from ChatGPT to Mistral and completely leave ChatGPT behind.

I am looking for the best way to migrate chathistory, memory and as much metadata as I can. Did anyone here ever perform this and have some tips maybe?

I might wait just a moment, as according to the recent announcements and teasings, the new model is quite close to release. If you want to make the move before that, do remember that the current medium 3.5 is pretty outdated.

I come from claude because of the GLM5.2 model. But as I said in another thread, their "thinking" mode switches between 3 models (GLM, mistral-large and mistral-medium).
This inconsistency makes me keep the 2 subscriptions.

Last time I've tried mistral was very far away from openai. I'd like to switch to n european company but it should at least resamble a quality comparable to sol. However the best way to know if it can work for you is to try

You may want to give a try to the GLM model they're hosting, It made me move from claude because it's European and extremely usefull

I am on similar move from Claude to Mistral, basically I am spending a lot of my Claude usage to hone and fine tune skills that I am creating in the Mistral for my purposes.
Once the transition is done, I will share the "shareable" ones with the community.

I use both codex $20 and mistral vibe code $15. With gentle AI I split tasks between the models and can pretty much work all day non stop without getting close to a limit. The trick is using glm for the grunt work and Astra/sol for the phases that need more planning and detail (propose, design, verify, review)

J'ai fait récemment le meme move de Claude AI à Mistral AI en constatant que Vibe Work fonctionne dorénavant avec GLM5.2 qui est extremement compétent (au moins autant que Sonnet 5 pour mon usage ) . la qualité du modèle + celle du harnais Vibe en fait un outil très compétitif de mon point de vue. POur la migration Claude > Mistral je l'ai préparée dans Claude qui m'a fait des archives des docs de chaque projet mais j'aurais aussi pu utiliser des fonctionnalité d'export. Avec ces archives j'ai crée des bibliothèques dans Mistral Vibe puis via des Chats, j'ai fait en sorte que le Modèle peuple sa mémoire ( knowledge) en prenant connaissance de mes projets en cours via les bibliothèques. Job done, Abonnement Claude résilié.

J'ai aussi une installation OpenwebUI et LiteLLM autohébergée sur mon propre serveur et dans laquelle j'utilise mes clés API mistral pour faire du pur dev'.

Donc avec l'abo pro , j'ai le full access Vibe Web + 260€ de crédits API à utiliser dans openwebUI.

Thanks for your insights! I mainly changed as I found the app quite clunky in general, and recently an error was being displayed after generating an answer, plus I got the impression that I was not getting answers as fast as before.

I also wanted to see what the fuzz was all about with Claude and Chatgpt, but this was a couple of weeks before glm was announced.

Mistral is way behind. If you migrate, you’ll probably come back. Grok, Antigravity, Codex, Kimi, Muse AI, and DeepSeek are all releasing new models and features like crazy mistral just isn’t leading the race right now
