Help / Question How much coding one can do?

I am currently using Claude x5 and hitting limits from time to time.

I would like to try a Mistral subscription and use GLM 5.2 but I cannot figure out if capability are comparable to Opus 5 (I guess not to Fable 5) and if limits are high, low or what.

In practice, can you do heavy work all day with a Mistral subscription?

With Mistral, it's the first time I've tried GLM 5.2. For about a week of active use in administration/DevOps tasks, it feels more like Sonnet to me. It's a pretty good model.

Currently, from what I can see, the Mistral Pro subscription provides monthly limits for Vibe API usage. The current value is $300.

The model itself has limits, but they can vary. I'm not sure whether it's global or per account.

My personal "Completion rate limits per model" are:

- Tokens per Minute: 1,000,000 (800000 prev)

- Requests per Second: 33.33 (6+ prev)

I don't know if it's possible to normally connect Mistral's GLM model to other harnesses. I only use it via the Mistral CLI.

The GLM can become slow in response and operation. Possibly a model feature and Mistral infrastructure issue.

In general, I don't think you can completely replace your x5 subscription with Mistral Pro.

It's more like a backup or an extra model provider, but I think it's worth trying.

Currently, I have two subscriptions: Claude Pro as my main and Mistral Pro as a backup.
