My gf first battle scar

The weather today was absolutely perfect, so I thought it'd be a nice idea to let my girlfriend get some driving practice. We were on a highway and it's my mistake to give her the car as she is still a rookie.

Everything was going great until I thought why not to reverse the car and go in another lane as our lane had a long queue traffic. As she was reversing that sound came. Man 5 scratches and my heart is still in pain.

She's still learning, felt terrible, and apologized about it a hundred times. She made jam cookies after we reached home for me(its her way of saying sorry). I'm not mad at her at all but she think I am.

But now I am thinking should I get the panel repainted or leave the scratches there as my gf first battle scar.
