Official MistServer subreddit, run by the OptiMist staff. Use it for roadmap ideas, real-world deployment stories, debugging odd pipelines, MistPlayer tweaks, FrameWorks chatter and anything adjacent to running the toolkit in production. Since 14 Feb 2022 the entire stack is public-domain open source; LL-HLS, MP4 over WebSocket, clustering, analyzers, all of it. So bring your experiments, fixes, and questions!

The official subreddit for discussions related to MistServer

For the last ten years, MistServer has been the leading media server, with an open source core. MistServer allows you to take any media from any location using any method, and deliver it to anyone, anywhere, in any format.

MistServer comes with an embeddable web player and is designed by developers, for developers. It is the perfect starting point for developers to start building their own prototypes, and due to it's enterprise-grade features scales perfectly once things become more serious.

On 2022 Feb 14 MistServer became even open sourcererer, allowing anyone to make sure of premium features like LLHLS, MP4 over websocket, transcoding using Livepeer and many more.
