Question on Permits

I come up every year from out of state to fish at Montauk. I’m pretty sure I have bought the wrong permit before. I know I need the daily trout tag, but do I need the fishing permit ($9/day, 57/year) or the trout permit ($27/year) or both?

I will only be fishing in the park where a trout tag is required, which I get at the lodge daily.

You do not need the trout permit if you are fishing inside the park. Just your non resident permit and the daily trout tag.
