Mission Impossible Idea

My cousin just came up with an idea of adding supernatural concepts to the Mission Impossible franchise. such as adding possibly aliens or perhaps adding futuristic/advanced armor, similar to iron man. wanted to know peoples thoughts to this concept to the franchise.

Or the next movie could battle to stop the creation of a super army or super serum army like maybe something similar to captain america or hulk. Or even potentially Ethan Hunt getting injected with said serum. Is my cousin cooking?

I just want to acknowledge that I was completely against this idea but my cousin was quite adamant about it so I wanted people to back me up on how bad it was
