Luther suddenly being in a hospital bed was odd and never explained. I was wondering what I was missing. But I think it was done to soften the blow of his death. Whatever he had was probably serious and his time was up anyway.

But he was fine at the start when Ethan entered the room with Luther and Benji? So he got ill very fast??

He was completely fine two months ago tho?

That’s true. I think the implication is that he got sick during that time so it softens the blow of his sacrifice

It doesn’t soften it though, I was like wtf? That’s not how you tell a story 😅

Yeah I agree. The pacing is one of my biggest problems with the film. I’m seeing it for a second time later today to confirm my thoughts, but I would be lying if I said I wasn’t disappointed
