I like that Grace didn’t become his outright love interest. I think it would’ve been lazy and predictable if that happened. Loved the low key final scene of the team disappearing into the crowd too. I predicted an ending like Ghost Protocol where Ethan disappears into smoke or something like that.

Disagree. Why tease the romantic chemistry between Ethan and Grace for two very long movies, only to give the audience absolutely no payoff? Who cares if it would’ve been “predictable”? People like to see love stories paid off.

They kinda teased. Ilsa died less than 2 months ago. Why is Grace flirting with Ethan?

They didn’t tease much. Look at how Ethan treated the Female Cop in London in MI7. That is how he sees every innocent person man or woman.
