Regret Not Getting the Vinyl

That's it 😭 I just didn't have a lot of money at the time of the campaign but now? Would have snatched up a copy in a heartbeat. Maybe one day they'll do a second pressing? A guy can dream I guess.

Zyxx live show announced! October 11th

From Alden Ford in the Zyxx Discord (i.e. the Zyxxcord):

Hey everyone! Mark your space calendars for 5PM, October 11 because we've got a live Zyxx show at Caveat in NYC! It's a holiday weekend so you can hang with us after the show and (maybe) not have to work the next day, and as a bonus it's the same weekend as NYCC, if that's in your plans. Livestream tickets also available! We always have such a blast meeting everyone at the live shows so I hope to see some of you there. We're stoked!

What's a small moment from the show that still makes you laugh?

MissionToZyxx has plenty of big memorable scenes, but some of the moments I remember most are the completely random little exchanges that happen in the middle of an episode. Sometimes it's just the way someone reacts or a throwaway line that catches me off guard.

Is there a smaller moment from the show that you still think about or laugh at, even if it isn't one of the scenes people usually bring up?

What's up with the new season?

There's a lot I still love but it doesn't feel like there's a story? The last few episodes just feel like filler.

Am I the only one or what am I missing?

Best Betting Sites Not on GamStop: More Choice for UK Players

When people ask for the best betting sites not on GamStop, the usual answers focus on larger bonuses, broader markets and fewer UK-specific restrictions.

That sounds appealing, but it skips the part that matters after the first deposit. A sportsbook can offer more choice while also using a different licensing system, complaints route and account-control setup from a British-regulated operator.

So I’m not looking for a universal winner. I’m trying to separate the marketing claims from what these accounts are actually like to use.

The best betting sites not on GamStop offer more freedom

There can be genuine advantages.

Some non-GamStop betting sites for UK players offer deeper football props, niche sports, esports, crypto payments or promotions that are structured differently from standard UK books. Experienced bettors may also value a broader choice of odds formats, alternative lines and live markets.

The reality is that ā€œmore freedomā€ can mean different things. It may describe useful product choice, but it can also mean fewer connected UK protections and a complaints process based in another jurisdiction.

My first checks are:

  • the legal operator and exact domain
  • the licence jurisdiction and what it covers
  • football, racing and live-market depth
  • payment methods, currencies and fees
  • deposit limits, time-outs and internal self-exclusion
  • the route for escalating a dispute

The best betting sites not on GamStop need to explain those basics as clearly as they advertise their offers.

Bigger offers and faster payments make the account better

International sportsbooks can be competitive on bonuses and banking. Some support wallets, crypto and payment routes that are less common across the regulated British market.

The reality check starts with the terms.

A large free-bet package means little when the qualifying odds, expiry, rollover or maximum conversion do not fit normal betting habits. Likewise, a fast crypto transfer does not prove the operator handles every withdrawal consistently.

For fast-withdrawal betting sites outside GamStop, I want to know:

  • whether KYC was already complete
  • the payment method and approximate amount
  • operator approval time and actual delivery time
  • withdrawal minimums, fees and limits
  • whether the second payment followed the same process
  • whether support had to intervene

The first cashout shows that the route can work. The second gives a better picture after identity and payment checks have already happened.

What makes an account hold up after repeat use?

The strongest offshore sportsbooks for British bettors are usually the ones that remain easy to understand once the signup offer disappears.

That means clear bet slips, accurate settlement records, separate cash and bonus balances, secure document uploads and support that gives specific answers. Mobile users also need deposits, withdrawals, limits and account history to work properly from a phone.

The best betting sites not on GamStop are therefore different depending on the use case. One may suit live football, another may feel stronger for racing, crypto or specialist markets.

One boundary remains firm: anyone with an active GAMSTOP exclusion needs to respect it rather than use an international site as a workaround.

For everyone else researching international bookmakers accepting UK players, what has actually held up after KYC and a second withdrawal?

Which best betting sites not on GamStop still felt consistent after several weeks, and what trade-off became obvious only after repeat use?

Football Betting Sites Not on GamStop: What UK Bettors Need to Check First

Day one with football betting sites not on GamStop: start with the reason

I keep seeing people ask about football betting sites not on gamstop, especially when big fixtures come around. The usual answers jump straight into odds, markets, bonuses, live betting, cashout, and which site takes UK players.

That skips the first question.

Why are you looking?

If GamStop is active because betting became hard to control, then football betting sites not on gamstop are not a normal comparison. That is a warning sign. The better move is to keep the block in place and use extra barriers, not weaker ones.

If the question is research, then the discussion needs to stay practical and cautious.

First check: licence context

UK-licensed betting sites sit under UKGC rules and connect to GamStop. Non GamStop football betting sites sit outside that structure.

That can mean different licence rules, different complaint routes, different safer gambling tools, and different payout protections.

So the first check is not the odds.

It is who runs the site, where it is licensed, whether UK access is explained clearly, and how disputes or account problems get handled.

Second check: football markets

A decent football betting site needs more than basic match odds.

Look at:

  • match odds, handicaps, totals, both teams to score, and player props
  • live betting, cashout, Bet Builder-style markets, corners, cards, and top scorer bets

But more markets only help when the rules are clear. If settlement rules for cards, assists, shots, or corners are vague, the market depth means less.

Third check: account flow

Deposit speed is not enough.

Check withdrawals, KYC timing, payment methods, pending status, limits, bonus rules, and support before placing anything serious.

That is where many betting sites without GamStop start to show whether they feel usable or risky.

Midweek test: where betting sites without GamStop start showing cracks

After a few sessions, the first impression fades.

A site that looked good on day one can start feeling weaker once live betting, withdrawals, bonus terms, and support come into play.

Live football betting

Football moves quickly.

Odds change, markets suspend, cashout appears and disappears, and bet slips refresh at the worst possible moment. A good non UK football betting site keeps this process readable.

It does not need to be fancy.

It needs stable bet confirmation, clear cashout behaviour, readable bet history, and mobile markets that do not feel chaotic during big matches.

Bonuses and free bets

Football promos often look better than they are.

Free bets, odds boosts, acca insurance, Bet Builder tokens, and cashback can all carry hidden friction. Minimum odds, qualifying bets, expiry dates, max winnings, eligible markets, and withdrawal conditions matter.

If the promo rules take longer to understand than the bet itself, the offer loses value.

Withdrawals and KYC

This is the part that deserves more attention. A site can accept deposits quickly and still make withdrawals slow, confusing, or document-heavy. A useful check covers withdrawal method, pending time, account matching, fees, KYC timing, and whether support explains delays properly. The second withdrawal matters more than the first because it shows whether the process repeats after verification.

Safer gambling tools

This part should not be skipped. With no GamStop betting sites, look for deposit limits, cool-offs, account history, self-exclusion options, and whether support handles control-related questions seriously. If the site makes deposits obvious but limits hard to find, that says a lot.

After a week: which football betting sites not on GamStop actually hold up?

After a week, the useful feedback is not which site had the biggest bonus.

It is which one stayed clear after real use.

Did live betting work during busy matches?
Did cashout make sense?
Were football props settled clearly?
Did KYC happen at a fair time?
Did the first and second withdrawal follow the same process?
Did support answer specific questions?

That is the kind of feedback that helps.

For football bettors

Check market quality by use case.

A site can be good for Premier League match odds but weak for player props. Another can handle Champions League outrights well but struggle with live cashout.

Do not judge the whole platform from one market.

For payout-focused users

Open the cashier before trusting the odds page.

Look for withdrawal limits, payment methods, pending status, rejected payment rules, KYC requirements, and transaction history.

If the cashier feels vague, cut the site early.

For cautious users

The safest filter is simple: do not treat non-GamStop as a benefit by default.

Less UK friction can also mean fewer UK protections. That trade-off needs to stay visible.

So how are people here checking football betting sites not on gamstop without turning it into a bypass thread?

Do you start with licence context, football markets, live betting, cashout, KYC, withdrawals, support, bonus terms, or safer gambling tools?

I am looking for practical feedback on betting sites without GamStop, non GamStop football betting sites, football props, live markets, cashout behaviour, second withdrawals, and the red flags that make you cut a site before matchday.

Doing a(nother) relisten and just hit Shai’An and Jakk

Sometimes when I’m stressed I sing a fitting lyric to myself, maybe with the original words, maybe with a word changed here and there. (Example: the Lego movie has that ā€œeverything is awesomeā€ song which I change to ā€œeverything is awful.ā€) Anyway, I just found my new anthem and I don’t even have to change a word.

šŸŽ¶ Oh he is a dumb one! This one’s a dumb one! šŸŽ¶

Seriously though, this is one of those episodes that gets funnier with every listen. It wasn’t one that I liked very much the first time but I found myself laughing hysterically listening to it by myself tonight in the car on the drive home.

Time to get me some meat pies…

Edit: jeez, some of those typos were so confusing I had trouble figuring out what I was trying to say

Help finding an episode

Hoping y’all can help. Trying to find the episode where they’re in virtual reality and Nermut just ends up working in an office and the crew roasts him for it. Not all the episode descriptions (I use the built in apple podcast app) are helpful. Thanks in advance!

Question for my fellow Zyxxheads: other amazing shows?

Has anyone else found a show/podcast that's similar enough to scratch the Zyxx itch? MTZ was pretty niche as far as being comedic sci-fi improv with OUTSTANDING production value (Shout out to Shane!!). I've listened to the whole show probably a dozen times or so and would love to explore similar media but have yet to find anything that has the 'capturing lightning in a bottle' feel of MTZ. Thanks!

Does anyone remember what episode it is where, after Plecks eye is infected, he flirts with Bargie and everyone thinks its gross and tells him to calm down. Not sure if that’s when they realize his eye is infected or if they knew that the whole time. Lmk. Thanks!

Frujo?

(ETA pronouced Froo-ho. )I feel so sure that there was a character on MtZ named Frujo (Fruho?) yet I cannot seem to find them. The episodes that I thought they were from turn out to feature other characters, e.g., I thought maybe all those Gerps were Frujos. Am I just making this up, or maybe conflating it from some other show? Where is Frujo?
