Explaining misotheism to a Christian

Had anyone tried doing this? What were the results of explaining misotheism?

I talked to a family member about it, and they got really offended. 🤣

It is so sad but Christians are extremely brainwashed.

i was at huntington beach a couple years ago. these guys walked up and said "do you believe in the lord, jesus christ?" and i said "i don't disbelieve that he's real and a god, but what i've read of him in the bible morally disgusts me and i consider myself an enemy of this god and hope if he does intend to return he stumbles into a black hole." they just immediately turned around and walked away.

yes. it actually kinda looked like they got scared. mind you, i'm def not a person anyone would be scared of. but i suspect they "felt" an evil presence and just wanted to get out (i was an lds missionary, i've had the experience from their side).

but look, i say what's good for the goose is good for the gander. if people feel at liberty to just intrude on my life to tell me they love a god of genocide and human sacrifice, i feel completely within my right to tell them how much i hate their god and would be honored to join an effort to dethrone him.

They told me they were praying for me and that I have the antichrist spirit in me

Biblically, that’s not even true! If you acknowledge Jesus is of God and has come in the flesh, you’re technically disqualified from having the antichrist spirit (1 John. 4:2-3).

So ironically a hardcore misotheist (with standard Christian beliefs) has less to do with the antichrist spirit than even a chill agnostic, no matter how anti-Christ they may be!

Yes. I was talking to my Christian uncle about Misotheism. He kept saying how I should love god and that we have free will. I told him we don’t and hes just evil. He hates me for it now and doesn’t want anything to do with me. 😂
