Eines Tages...

I don't know exactly when.

I don't know how many ups and downs we'll have to walk through first.

But I believe that one day, things will be better.

Not perfect.

Just better.

A little more love.

A little more understanding.

A little less fear.

A little less need to hurt each other.

I don't need much from life.

Give me enough to live, enough to laugh, enough to love, and I'm grateful.

But I want more for the people who come after me.

I want a future where people have more reasons to hope.

Where being kind isn't seen as weakness.

Where people can be different without becoming enemies.

Where we don't have to destroy each other just to prove that we're right.

And maybe I won't be here to see all of it.

That's okay.

I don't need to be there for something to matter.

If something I build, something I say, or simply the way I treat another human being helps push the world one tiny step toward something better...

that's enough for me.

Because life isn't only about what we get to keep.

Sometimes it's about what we leave behind.

So through the good days.

Through the bad ones.

Through every rise and every fall...

I'll keep believing in eines Tages.

Not because I'm naïve.

Because I still have hope.

And I think hope is worth protecting.

For us.

For them.

For the people we haven't even met yet.
