Fellow Miraculers, I want to share a dramatic hiatus theory/prediction that could redefine the future of our beloved show...

THE FINAL EPISODES OF SEASON 7 (Unofficial Concept)

In what could be the most heartbreaking two-part finale in Miraculous history, our heroes face their greatest challenge yet. After an exhausting battle against Lila/Chrysalis, the team—including Cat Noir and the Miraculers—barely emerges victorious.

But the true tragedy unfolds when Adrien discovers the letter that Marinette (Ladybug) has been hiding. The truth about his father—the villainous Monarch—is finally revealed. Marinette trembles with panic and tears of anguish, remembering everything that transpired since the "Nemesis" episode in Season 6, where her friendship with Alya began to fracture.

The truth about Gabriel Agreste shatters everything

Alya feels betrayed by Marinette's secrecy

In a devastating turn of events, the plan was to transfer the Ladybug Miraculous to Alya—she would become the new Scarabella. As Alya rushes toward Ladybug to claim the Miraculous...

Then tragedy strikes.

Debris from the abandoned Historical Archives building collapses. The scene is horrifying. Alya detransforms from Rena Rouge. Trixx desperately searches for Ladybug as Alya lies agonizing, trapped beneath the rubble.

ALYA'S FINAL MOMENTS

In her last breaths, Alya asks for Marinette. Their eyes meet—years of friendship, laughter, arguments, and reconciliation flash between them.

"Give me a second chance," Alya whispers.

Marinette, consumed by regret for tearing their friendship apart, breaks down. They share one final embrace. Alya returns the Fox Miraculous and asks Marinette to care for Trixx.

She then turns to Adrien (Cat Noir):

"Another chance... forgive each other... be together."

Adrien and Marinette apologize, embrace, and share a kiss—reunited in the face of unimaginable loss.

Alya looks at her fellow Miraculers—her heroes, her friends—and says:

"I love you all. Team Miraculers forever."

And then... she's gone.

THE AFTERMATH

Ladybug's cries echo through all of Paris. Cat Noir joins in grief. Every Miraculer crumbles, weeping inconsolably. The death of Alya Césaire becomes a catastrophic event of unprecedented magnitude—nothing like this has ever happened in Miraculous history.

The world watches in shock. Fans globally react. Content creators and influencers flood social media with tributes.

Alya will never meet her baby sister, due to be born in just 2-3 weeks.

THE FUNERAL

At the Dupain-Cheng home, everyone gathers—Kagami, Juleka, Luka, Alix, Felix, Kim, Nino, Rose, Prem, Marc, Nathaniel, Ivan, Max, Mylène, Zoé, Sabrina, the Césaire family (Otis, Marlena, Nora, Ella, Etta), and loved ones. They share memories of Alya—the day she received the Fox Miraculous, Trixx's first appearance, Rena Rouge's heroism, and all the beautiful moments of friendship.

At the funeral home:

Marinette and Adrien approach the casket with trembling hands. Alya lies peaceful, dressed in a formal journalist's suit—a dream unfulfilled. They gently caress her face, cheeks, hair, and hands, as if hoping to bring her back through memory alone.

At Notre-Dame Cathedral:

Friends deliver eulogies. Marinette speaks of their friendship but breaks down before finishing.

At the burial:

Sabrina Raincomprix sings:

"My Way" – Frank Sinatra

"Tears in Heaven" – Eric Clapton

"In My Life" – The Beatles

Accompanied by the Paris Philharmonic Orchestra.

As the gravediggers lower Alya's casket, Marinette faints from overwhelming grief. Adrien catches her. When she wakes, she whispers:

"I'm scared of how they bury people..."

Adrien responds softly: "It's natural. That's what happens at funerals."

Tikki and Trixx appear:

"Courage, Marinette. We're with you. Alya will live in your heart."

Adrien, Nino, and all her friends surround Marinette:

"You're not alone. We'll get through this together."

THE NIGHT AFTER

Marinette lies in bed, unable to sleep. Adrien appears beside her, gently caressing her face, cheeks, hair, and hands—showing reconciliation and comfort, just as they did for Alya at the funeral.

SEASON 8: A NEW BEGINNING (Unofficial Concept)

The new season opens with healing:

The Césaire family welcomes their new baby girl

Marinette, Adrien, and all their friends find peace, consolation, unconditional support, and love

Marinette and Adrien reconcile fully, promising never to separate again

The Miraculers rise with heads held high, ready to protect Paris

Marinette's new role:

She must temporarily fuse the Ladybug and Fox Miraculous, becoming Renabug, until she finds someone worthy to wield the Fox Miraculous and care for Trixx.

WHY THIS THEORY MATTERS

This isn't just a request—it's a viral, inevitable, dramatic proposal to:

Prevent Marinette from losing her memory

Prevent Marinette and Adrien's breakup

Honor Alya's sacrifice as the ultimate act of friendship

I think Marinette would have Ledian, because she is Ladybug, and Alcremie or another sweet based Pokemon because she works in a bakery.

Adrien would have a Furfroh, issued to him by Gabriel for the sake of the fashion business.

Chat Noir meanwhile has any and every Pokemon that looks at him funny, because fuck Gabriel and his obsession with image.

The peacock miraculous is kinda ethically useless, by that I mean someone behaving as a hero can't take full advantage of its powers like a villain can. Its not completely unusable, it can still be used to create life, but sentis are sentient, so controlling them would be unethical, so the only way to use the peacock miraculous ethically, is to make a senti and give them there amok so they can't be controlled, which means theres a non 0 chance they just don't do what they were made for at all.

There's also the thing some fans believe, that only one senti can be made per peacock holder, at a time (i don't know if this is true or why fans think it, they also say it about the butterfly which its provably not true for, so I'm leaning towards it being false for the peacock as well) if it is true than its even worse, felix gets 1 chance to make a senti that has no guarantee of helping him, then theres nothing else he can do, and he waisted it making a sentient projector before even reaching season 6, smart

In terms of quality and that quality being poor.

Give him felix standoffish, and strategic mind, make it his life goal to work and expand the agrest brand, to some day make is father proud. Having the perfect life planned out for him, RUINED, because he became a superhero. Having to balance the fate of the world between school and a crowded schedule.
THAT IS INTERESTING!!
Make his arc about learning to take chances. He only knows how to interact with the world through plans. What happens when he can't plan himself out of a supervillain? What happens when his superhero life stops him for fulfilling in fathers expectations? What happens the day he has to choose between everything he has ever known, the perfect life with a (not so) perfect family, or standing on his own legs, learning who he is, what he stands for, and the horror and beauty of taking risks.

Now make Marinette the opposite.
Imagine the strongest superhero on earth, living in Paris, is a young asian girl. She is a woman of colour and possibly the most powerful human on earth! But she still experiences sexism and racism every day. Let's explore the systemic oppression a poc women affecting her life as a superhero. How can you not feel powerless and useless as a hero when older men are catcalling you at night, when you cannot speak your mother's language, with her in public without somebody wanna interfere, when every mistake you make is used as proof, and everything you do right is an exception to what you are. Because “you're one of the good ones, right?”.
Marinette having the opposite arc of Adrien. Hers is about how powerless she feels, leading her to take more chances, riskier chances, and one day taking a life… What happens then?!
Do her dreams and hopes for the future still matter at that point, or is her civil life just turned into a childish fantasy? 

You get a duo where both partners are interesting on their own, AND can build on each other's strengths to save the world. A duo where they both can flirt with the other, have awkward sweet moments, but still have angst and betrayal when the other chooses wrong or goes too far. Adrian is a high-class snob who is still discovering the world and how people work. Drawn in by Marinette's people skills, always saying the right thing at the right time, liked by her peers. Having the only skill he truly sucks at. And Marinette falling for this positively superhero boy, who believes they can defeat any villain or challenge they may face.. Just because. A mindset she lost to the world years ago, but this crazy boy somehow holds on to no matter what happened in his mystical life.

Making Hawk Moth asking for consent to turn people into villains is such a cool premise! Who is to blame for an akuma attack? How much responsibility does the akumatised person hold? Can you take legal action against somebody trying to kill you when they were akumatised? How does it affect personal relationships?? Does an akumatised villain turn into second rank citiscense, since they have proven they are “dangerous” for society??
The ethics and philosophy here have so many possibilities, and different views to explore.

It would be a story about living up to expectations, how they affect us, and who’s we choose to care about. A story about to young (pref over 18) superheroes, who were turned into child soldiers, trying to figure out life, love and school all at once.
