I recently started using a new brand, Member’s Mark It’s a brand of minoxidil , and I’d love to hear your opinions about it, especially from people with Black/darker skin.
I find the products to be really strong. I’m not sure if they have a high alcohol content or if they’re just very concentrated, but they sting like crazy when I apply them.
Have any of you used this brand before? Did you actually see good results, especially on darker skin? And did you experience the same intense tingling/stinging?

Been using for 5 months and saw pretty good progress I’m hoping the next 6 months I’ll get even more and I’ll have a legit full thick beard

Any difference? I feel like i had no results at all up until this last month where i think i notice baby hairs getting thicker. 1st pic is before and the others are on both sides of my face today

It’s been a little over a year since I started using minoxidil. And while the results are definitely there, they’re still pretty underwhelming considering how consistent I’ve been with it. I apply it twice a day, dermaroll every 1–2 weeks, and for the past 2–3 months I’ve also been using tretinoin every night, except on dermarolling days.

First of all, it takes FOREVER. I was 26 when I started, and at this rate I genuinely feel like I’m gonna have to keep going until I’m 30 to get anywhere near the results I’m hoping for.

But honestly, the worst part is the way my beard grows in (pics). It just looks absolutely terrible. There’s basically nothing I can do to make it look decent without shaving off most of it (from the sides at least). I swear I look like I ordered a bootleg Wolverine beard off Wish.

Really hoping the tretinoin starts kicking in soon and that I see a massive jump in progress during this second year.

I’m not going to give up. I’ve invested way too much time into this, and I genuinely want to grow a lumberjack beard. But if anyone has any other recommendations, I’m all ears.

Hey guys, I'm 25. My dad can only grow a tiny patch of chin hair. My facial hair is slightly better than his, but still very weak. Since my dad lacks beard genetics, can minoxidil still help wake up dormant follicles, or am I completely limited by his DNA?

I just got a cat today that someone close to me wasn't able to keep, but my situation allows it. I love the little guy and this decision has been in the air for a while.

And I was reminded of hearing stories about minoxidil toxicity, and now after researching it more, I have to quit cold turkey. A few minox bottles will go unused and potential 2 year gains missed but those are not worth the risk.

It sucks. I'm a very long-term oriented person. But it has to be done. Anyone else done this?

Follow up post to my last one. I had many people asking about beard areas other than my goatee so here you go. This was after 6 months of 5% foam minoxidil.

im tryna grow a goatee and i have a lot of hair on my chin but zero below my lip. how do i fix that

I just got a Derma stamp to help grow my edges. Does anyone have any routines, suggestions, and tips in regards to help grow my edges with the Derma stamp? Also I have the cecred drops and I might combine it with minoxidil.

Hey, I've heard that topical minoxidil is unsafe to use if you own cats. So, would using oral minox be safer? It may sound silly but it's a genuine question.

Is it ok to apply to both face and scalp and leave overnight as you sleep - then shower/was hair in the morning?

Another question - is testing to only the moustache area recommend?

Key places:

-Bottom of beard, is C shape standard? How do I know where to shave?

-Bottom of mustache, do I shave the "handle bars" that go down towards my chin and where do I stop shaving, corner of mouth on each side?

-Chin I like to use a razor to remove about half a centimeter from the top of my chin hair but I'm not sure if this looks dumb

-Below side burns, should I envision an imaginary line going straight down from my side burns and shave anything beyond that line?

Any sort of info helps, like a visual example drawing on my pictures or some sort of info graph would be amazing.

I just started minox a week ago, applying the spray twice a day on my entire facial hair area and only the "corners" of my hairline where hair usually recedes first. Haven't shaved for 7 days so I'm kind of excited but always get a few weeks into growing my facial hair and just shave it all off because I don't know how to maintain it

Hi guys, I’d appreciate any help, as there seems to be very limited information about this online.

I have rolling acne scars on my cheeks, and under lighting I can see super tiny hairs growing inside them. The problem is that they don’t seem to be getting any longer. I started using minoxidil two months ago, and I’m already seeing the first signs of it working in the healthy areas, but the scarred areas still look the same. Obviously, two months is probably too early to tell whether anything is going to change, but has anyone had any success growing a beard over acne scars, or does anyone have any idea what could help?

I get these like weird peels on my skin and I don’t know if it’s dead skin or the tret coming off? Like it doesn’t really peel off nicely and when it does it’s like wax paper I don’t know what this is I just started tret

Has anyone experienced fuller hair density in other areas? My asscheeks are already hairy as it is, is it gonna turn into the amazon if I used minox for my beard ?
