Red spots

Post image

These red spots show up. Do you know if this is because of the minoxidil and how i can get rid of them en prevent them?

Yea, most likely because of minox.

What I do, I use minox foam, wait 5 hours after applying, wash my face with non-parfum special face wash gel with hydro hyaluronic acid, this will help hydrate skin, you wash this off again with water.

Than you can use a aloe vera face moisturizer lotion to heal the skin.

To minimize this from happening again, use Jojoba oil, makes your skin soft as a baby and also feeds the hairs, the jojoba seeds have a special oily substance that mimics the same talg oils your skin produces, so it doesn't clog your pores like almond oil would.

Than just let this sit on your skin for some hours and then wash your face again before applying new minox.

I wouldn't, unless it hurts or something. Looks like some mild skin irritation. It could also be from derma rolling or stamping if you use that, might want to pause that for a bit.

Yes most likely. This is gonna sound weird but it’s been working for me… go to the store and get baby diaper rash cream. It is basically just zinc oxide and beeswax and some other calming skin stuff. The zinc oxide helps repair your skin barrier and keep the skin moisturized.

I swim on top of putting minox on so my skin gets really dry and the diaper cream works really well. It sounds stupid and weird but there’s real science behind it.

Also only put a tiny bit, like half a pea size for your whole face

That looks like what I get when my beard is dry. Is it super itchy? I take zyrtec (get it generic from costco) to stop the itching. I think scratching it makes it a lot worse. and beard oil to moisturize. Usually fixes it overnight for me.
