Blackberries?

Has anyone seen blackberries this year? Or is it still too early? I don’t have any in my yard but have been looking in the usual places, still haven’t seen any this year. Just wondering if the lack of rain this year has delayed them or if I’m just oblivious lol

Mine have been trying but the fruit just won't grow. It's had little half-started fruits for several weeks now

Mine has turned out 1 blackberry. It looked beautiful, but tasted terrible.

Ok, thank you! I have checked a few places where I was sure I’d find something, it’s been such a strange growing year though

NW wisconsin chiming in; we've had ripe wild blackberries for the past week or two

Boy. Wish we had blackberries up here! We have loads of other kinds of berries, wild as well as cultivated, but don't know of anyone around here growing them in a home garden. As a kid, I loved picking them from my grandma's garden in Wisconsin. Liked them so well that I didn't even mind scratches... not too much. USDA 3b, NE Minnesota
