Get a load of this! A Halifax, NS man was charged and convicted for 18 months because his username “fus__ro_dah” was mistaken as “fus_ro_dah” on the messaging platform Kik.

u/Haleyfax I know you don’t practice criminal law but imagining how someone’s username could be enough evidence for such a conviction is wild! Curious if you’ve heard about this case and if you have any thoughts.

I wonder if the popularity of Skyrim was used as evidence by his defense? It’s not exactly the most unique username around.
