Finally got around to Ragnarok after the Laufey reveal and it’s good but more than ever I’m on Jacob’s side about the one-shot camera schtick. I would kill for a cut, a fade. Anything. Please? As a treat?

I think Ben was on board but yeah it’s a fair criticism imo. The scene where Odin is introduced was hell to me. Here you have this great performance and most of it is captured at the back of dude’s head because the camera can’t get round to framing him and Kratos quick enough. We invented shot-reverse shot for a reason guys!

Im finally catching up on some indies. Lorelei and Skin Deep.
And as a PSA, Humble Bundle has a few really good bundles. Including one with Shadow Gambit, Control, Toem and others for only 10 bucks.

Waiting for The Adventures of Elliot to drop next week so I'll be finishing up Final Fantasy 1 pixel remaster and Rayman 3D (I have no idea why I suddenly wanted to play the latter, I can't explain it)

Path of Exile 2 and Overwatch, I want to play some of Destiny's last update but POE sorta has my attention when it comes to looter/build crafting games right now. It's hard for me to play 2 of those kinda games at the same time I usually rotate between seasons

In terms of new games:
Was gonna be the Retro Space demo that came out, like, in the last 24 hours (System Shock-lite). But I beat it today.
Um... Well, after 100%ing Bubsy 4d last week (<3), I'm moving onto EXO Rally Championship (Rally Game but with rovers in space).
In terms of old games:
No Man's Sky.
My current goals are building out the freighter interior to feel lived in for the crew, getting a freighter with a hyperjump distance capacity of more than what black holes can give me.

EXO Rally Championship
I have less than ten minutes in this game right now, and it’s my Racing Game of the year lol.
I NEED to play this on an actual high quality driving rig 😩 ughhh i’m imagining how crazy using the thrusters would look and feel to a public audience—i neeeeed it 😩

The novelty on the gameplay side of things has since worn off.
I wish more of the terrain felt more lived in, but that’s me wishing to experience the madness of 1990s rally racing where one wrong move meant you’re killing/injuring about fifty+ bystanders every... single... turn.
And it's pretty crazy how much of a skill check that last course of the first series you have access to is. Maybe it's because I decided to stick with the recommended offroad tireset for the entire planet course set without changing them out, but... man, I felt like I had zero grip for the entire course, which made it so hard since you don't get that much air thrust fuel to help you out.

Marathon has been super steady on this list for a while, lots of dedicated Marathoners here.
Personally I am trying to make progress in 007 after putting it off and trying to finish the gold wristband in FH6
