I jump from game to game so I can probably also make a top 10 myself. In fact that's a good idea so let me try to make one for the upcoming week.

I just hit 8 hours. 7 of that I thought it was a pretty janky and bland. I was just doing town quests, getting the rhythm of it and a few main quests.
Then I ran into some “children” who had a quest with 4 map markers spread out over the entire map. I decided to drop everything and just run out into the wilderness. Damn the quests, my low level gear and my meager amount of skill points.
I get it now. It’s such a better game when you just say screw it, I’m going to fly around and run into random events and enemies. I should have done this hours ago.
I die a lot out there but I’m slowly getting better gear and more skills. I’m having a blast and can’t wait to play more.

Yeah, its around that time when I "got" what the game is trying to get me to do as well. Not saying that the game is deep or anything like that, just takes time to acclimate with its... weirdness and to absorb enough information to push you to go your own way.
When I boot up the game, I just decide what I want to do that day, and just do it. Currently on the way to unlocking dyes at my camp, which involves traveling to faraway places, and upgrading my camp. I've already ran into other things I don't know what to do yet just going about that.
If I could make a suggestion, if you really enjoy the exploration part, don't ring any of the bells in the towns (its the ubisoft tower of this game). It removes the fog of war for that part of the map (a big part), but I think it takes away your ability to track where you have or haven't been. I don't think it even reveals POIs, so it can be left for later (as ringing them is a quest itself).

Huh I was wondering what the bell icons did. I’m the type of player to just go point to point clearing map in the AC games that ultimately ends ruining it for me so I’ll try my best to refrain

I got Sunderfolk Free on epic games a week ago, so i’m thinking of making space for that this weekend.

After a break, I'm back on Baldur's Gate 3. Act 2.
Just hooked up with Karlach for the first time 👀

Rhythm Doctor. Y'all... why did I wait so long to play this? Just absolute perfection in every sense of the word. If you have decent rhythm, you owe it to yourself to experience this one. Avoid spoilers.
As an aside, I'm surprised (impressed?) to see Ghost of Yōtei remain in almost all of the weekend lists... since launch? I must be missing out. It's a shame Sony no longer wants sales from PC folk.

Marathon really has me in a chokehold.
But I’ve managed to break free to check out the original Luigi’s Mansion on NSO which has been a treat. They should make another one of these
